Re: Can't connect to View Security Server from outside FirewallA quick way to see if its a DNS/NAT issue would be to run wireshark (or some other protocol analyzer) on the host your running the View client on. Look at the packet and see if the destination is the outside address of your View Security server. If it's the address of your internal server, then you know its not configured correctly as the traffic can only pass through the Security server (like a proxy) it can not talk to the desktop/internal View Connection server directly. |

Re: Can't connect to View Security Server from outside Firewall I don't know if anyone has used it yet, but the new View 4 was released last week by VMware. I'm not sure this would fix this problem, but it might be worth a shot.

Re: Can't connect to View Security Server from outside Firewall It would be interesting to see what you would see if you ran Wireshark on both the client PC and the security server. You might see on one or both a TCP reset (which would indicate a security device someplace between the two resetting the connection.)
