Setup:

Using VMware Player 3.1  Build 385536

1. Host machine is windows 7 with 3 NICs. 2 Ethernet and 1 Wireless NIC.
2. Two Guest VMs both running windows 7.

Expectation:

1. First Ethernet NIC will be used for connecting to the host itself. (10.4.28.0 Network   )
2. Second Ethernet NIC must map to the VM1 (Bridged) (172.18.1.0 Network)
3. Third Wireless NIC must map to VM2. (Bridged) (172.18.2.0 Network)

Status:

1. I have created the two VM on the host system which are up and running.
2. I have used VMnetcfg.exe to map VMNET0 to NIC2 and VMNET1 to wireless NIC3.
3. Also tried editing thr .vmx file where the connType is set to custom and adapter is set to VMNet (x) where X is the virtual nic no.

Current issue:

I always end up seeing the same NIC which is NIC2 on both the VMs. Any help will be appreciated.
