Providing for full access to the SharePoint API, PowerShell unlocks the potential to interact directly with SharePoint to manipulate web applications, site collections, sites, lists and more. In addition, the ability to script these commands and compile a toolbox of these scripts makes for an improved experience in administering Windows SharePoint Server.
